Description
Instead of trekking up the volcano on foot, you ride in a 4×4 off-road jeep to a designated viewpoint on the slopes of Mount Batur. From there, you get breathtaking panoramic views of the sunrise over the caldera, Lake Batur, and often the distant Mount Agung. After sunrise, the jeep often takes you to explore the fascinating black lava fields from past eruptions.
Make Your Trip Easy
- Accessibility: Ideal for those who aren’t fit for the strenuous hike, or those with limited mobility, children, or elderly travelers.
- Comfort: No need to break a sweat climbing in the dark. You enjoy the views from the comfort of the jeep or a designated viewpoint.
- Unique Experience: The off-road jeep ride itself is an adventure.
- Time-Saving: Generally, the jeep tour is quicker than the hike.
- Explore More: Allows you to easily access and explore the black lava fields, which are harder to reach on foot.
